Dental Care 

Though many of us know that regular tooth-brushing for our pets greatly reduces tartar build-up, for many, it is impractical and in some cases next to impossible!

Two-thirds of dogs and cats have dental problems. It is a major problem in elderly animals, in which a dental clean-up under general anaesthetic may be a risk we would rather not take.  Rabbit's teeth need regular check ups for overgrowth.

Teeth and gums can become very painful to the extent that some pets will not eat because of it, just like when we have a cavity. Dogs and cats are much, much happier when decayed teeth are removed rather then left in - even when this means that only one or two teeth are left in!

Regular dental check-ups are always performed at vaccination visits, and  are very important in order to monitor teeth problems and deciding when to stage a dental.
