COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – an update for our clients.

Changes to our out of hours emergency pet care service

February 4, 2021

Your pets are extremely important to us at Wildbore Vetstop, and we’ve always strived to ensure they have access to the best veterinary care day and night.

So that we can continue to provide the very best care during the day when you need us most, we’ve partnered with Vets Now, a dedicated pet emergency service that provides expert emergency care when we are closed. Vets Now are the equivalent of an accident and emergency service and the leading provider of emergency pet care in the UK.

Their vets and nurses are specially trained in emergency and critical care, and consistently work out of hours through the night and at weekends. This means they are ready and waiting to see you and your pet. They don’t work during the day so you don’t have to worry about disturbing them at night.

Our VetsNow locations are Sheffield, Doncaster and Chesterfield, and like us, they have state-of-the-art equipment and facilities onsite to treat your pet in an emergency.

During our opening hours, we will continue to provide your pet with the highest standard of care at our independent veterinary hospital in Worksop. We’re also still available for emergencies during peak times, as we’ll be providing out of hours cover on weekday evenings and Sundays.

This partnership has meant we can deliver an enhanced service for clients and pets during the day. There will be increased availability for appointments, and reduced waiting times for medical or surgical procedures and life-saving diagnostic tests. We will also be able to offer more continuity of care, with improved availability to see the same vet throughout a period of treatment.

To find out more about our partnership with Vets Now and the hours they are covering, you can read some helpful FAQs on our website.

If your pet becomes ill or injured out of hours, call our emergency line on 01909 471290.

Our veterinary team will answer, or your call will be automatically diverted to our partners at Vets Now.
