Wildbore

Adam Betts

Adam began his training in May 2017 and attended lectures at the College of Animal Welfare in Leeds. After passing his exams and completing his practical portfolio, he qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2019.

He currently works our Out of Hours rota as a Night RVN, providing care to our hospitalised patients and any emergencies that arrive at the practice during the night. He also enjoys working in our theatre area and has a key interest in animal behaviour, cognition, learning and training.

He has three pets at home including a rescue Border Collie, a cat and a carpet python, who he cares for with help from his partner Lucy, who is also training to be a RVN. Together, they enjoy walking and camping in the peak district, cumbria and Scotland. Adam also loves his history!
