COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – an update for our clients.

Chelsea Copnell

Chelsea graduated from Askham Bryan College in September 2019 with her FdSc Veterinary Nursing and has since completed her BSc during lockdown earlier this year.

Chelsea completed her sandwich year placement here at Wildbore back in 2017 and returned as a qualified RVN in June 2019. She previously worked the role of twilight nurse where she assisted the vets with any patients requiring emergency surgeries or treatments in our Out of Hours service. Chelsea has since progressed into the role of Night nurse where she also gets to lead the nursing care for poorly animals overnight as well.
The main areas of the job Chelsea enjoys are looking after our inpatients while they are staying with us and monitoring anaesthetics for any procedures pets may need. In the distant future she hopes to move into Hydrotherapy but for the time being is enjoying hospital nursing.

Chelsea likes to wind down by cross stitching and spending time with her 3 fur babies – her old boy Reggy who’s a border terrier, the feisty one Lincoln who’s a miniature dachshund and her little Princess Primrose who’s a British Shorthair.
