Isolation Unit for pets with contagious diseases

For the safety and wellbeing for all our patients our isolation ward is a separate area, divided into separate dog and cat isolation wards. This unit has been specially designed to keep potentially infectious patients separate from the main ward and utilises the latest barrier nursing techniques to maintain the highest levels of isolation.

Pets in our isolation unit will be looked after by a smaller team of staff wearing full PPE – Personal Protection Equipment, with extra cleaning protocols in place to ensure optimum safety without compromising veterinary care.
Our isolation ward includes comfortable bedding and a quiet place to rest and recover, under the close-watch of our experienced team.

Fast turnaround of test results

Thanks to our onsite laboratory and external lab service, we can ensure a quick turnaround of pet test samples to help us diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions. Learn more about our laboratory facilities.

Other in-patient facilities for your pet

If needed, the pets in our isolation unit receive intensive care from our vets and fully qualified nursing staff. If your pet does not need the level of care offered in this ward then your vet will talk you through the other facilities available including our separate kennels for cats, dogs, and rabbits.
