Why do you need Pet Insurance?

Pet Insurance is designed to take away some of the stress you might face if your pet is involved in an accident, becomes ill suddenly, or experiences health complications that require surgery or ongoing treatment.

Are you financially prepared?

When things go wrong, you’ll want to get your pet the treatment they need rather than the treatment you can afford at the time, which is where Pet Insurance can help.

What type of pet insurance should you choose?

There are many Pet Insurers to choose from, so it’s important to compare exactly what they will and won’t cover your pet for, and for how long. Some pet insurance policies, called ‘lifetime policies’, will cover up to a certain amount per condition per year and the pot will refill for that condition when you renew your policy. These can be particularly useful if your pet develops a long-term condition that requires ongoing treatment.

Your pet insurance policy

At Wildbore Vetstop in Worksop, we strongly support the principle of insuring your pet against accident and illness. However, it’s important to remember that any contract of insurance is between you and your insurer so you should always refer to the terms and conditions of your own insurance policy. You should also check what is and isn’t covered before committing to a pet insurance policy.
