COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – an update for our clients.

CT Scanning Service Referral

If you are a Vet with a case you would like to refer to us for CT scanning, please complete the form below. Any relevant documents further to the data inputted on this form can be sent to us at info@thevetstop.co.uk .

Once we have received the form, we will aim to contact the client directly to arrange a suitable date for the planned procedure. They will be allocated an admit appointment and a provisional time we expect the procedure to be complete. It is important to bare in mind that if the patient is due to receive contrast media, they will require a short stay in our hospital to receive intravenous fluid therapy; reducing the risk of contrast induced acute renal injury.

When we accept referrals for CT scanning, this is strictly on a scan-only basis. The results will be sent directly to the primary practice to continue patient treatment.
